REFLO ANNOUNCED AS OFFICIAL CLOTHING PARTNER OF HERO DUBAI DESERT CLASSIC
Dubai, UAE – January 12 – The Hero Dubai Desert Classic has announced a landmark partnership with Reflo, the sustainable performancewear brand, as its Official Clothing Partner for the 2026 tournament and beyond.
Extending on last year’s relationship, the partnership represents a perfect alignment between the tournament's long-standing commitment to sustainability and Reflo's mission to become the most sustainable performancewear brand in the world. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic, which returns to Emirates Golf Club from 22-25 January, has been GEO-certified for three consecutive years and continues to set the benchmark for environmentally responsible golf events globally.
Founded in Dubai in 2021, Reflo has quickly established itself as a leader in sustainable sportswear, specialising in golf while also catering to runners, gym-goers and athletes across multiple sports including tennis and padel. The brand's performancewear is predominantly made from recycled polyester derived from single-use plastic waste destined for landfill, using less energy and producing less carbon than virgin polyester.
Reflo's commitment to sustainability extends far beyond its fabrics. The brand plants a tree for every product sold, uses no single-use plastics in its supply chain, and delivers garments in fully biodegradable packaging. To date, Reflo has planted over 125,000 trees and recycled more than 2.7M plastic bottles.
Simon Corkill, Executive Tournament Director of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, said: "We're absolutely delighted to welcome Reflo as our Official Clothing Partner. This partnership is built on shared values – both organisations are committed to delivering world-class performance while prioritising environmental responsibility. Reflo's approach to sustainability is genuinely pioneering, from their use of recycled materials to their innovative Reloop programme, and it aligns perfectly with our own sustainability initiatives as a GEO-certified event.
Rory MacFadyen, Co-Founder of Reflo, added: "Partnering on this level with the Hero Dubai Desert Classic is a milestone moment for Reflo. This tournament embodies everything we stand for – world-class performance, innovation, and a genuine commitment to sustainability. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic has set the standard for environmentally responsible golf events through its GEO certification and year-on-year improvements, and we're honoured to support their mission.
"Dubai is where Reflo was born, so to partner with the city's most iconic golf tournament feels like being at home. We can't wait to showcase our sustainable performancewear to the world's best players and golf fans from around the globe."
As Official Clothing Partner, Reflo will have a significant presence at Emirates Golf Club throughout the tournament week including prominent branding and a retail presence in Tournament Town, where fans can experience the brand's innovative sustainable clothing first-hand.
The partnership reinforces the Hero Dubai Desert Classic's position as not only the 'Major of the Middle East' but also as a leader in sustainable golf events, setting an example for tournaments worldwide.
Beyond championship golf, this flagship Rolex Series event promises its most vibrant edition yet, with live entertainment, festival vibes, family fun and great food under Dubai’s iconic winter sunshine. Tournament Town, the buzzing heart of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, returns double the size for 2026, offering live music on Family Friday, and a full weekend of hands‑on sustainability workshops, creative activities and roaming entertainment. This year, Eat Street makes its debut as a vibrant new culinary hub, lined with one‑of‑a‑kind food trucks, a welcoming seating area and a giant LED screen so every bite comes with the thrill of the game.
General Admission remains free for everyone on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 January, making it easier than ever for fans to enjoy the opening days of the tournament.
