Getting There

The Hero Dubai Desert Classic is proud to be on a journey towards a sustainably certified event and we need your help!

Due to the central location of Emirates Golf Club, there are a variety of ways to reach the Hero Dubai Desert Classic by using public transport and helping to support the ‘Go for the Green’ initiative.

There is also dedicated parking onsite signposted ‘Event General Parking’. As part of our sustainable ‘Park and Plant’ initiative, there will be a AED 50 parking fee which will be donated to a gold standard sustainable initiative towards positive climate change. Once parked, there are shuttle buggies that will drop you off at the main entrance.

Metro

Al Khail Metro Station is located directly outside the front entrance gate. The station lies on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro and is easily accessible from other popular stations such as Mall of the Emirates, Business Bay, Dubai Mall, World Trade Centre and Airport Terminal 3 to name a few.

Centrepoint, Etisalat and Jabal Ali Metro stations offer free parking so you are able to drive there, park your car for free and hop on the metro to Al Khail Metro Station, right at the entrance to Emirates Golf Club.

Taxi

Taxi drop-off and pick-up will be available for spectators.

Bus

Bus number 83, which runs to multiple locations throughout the city, conveniently stops at Al Khail Metro station located directly outside the front entrance gate.

Directions

Southbound

If you are travelling on Sheikh Zayed Road, take the exit at interchange No 5 following signs of Al Naseem St and Emirates Golf Club.
If you are travelling on Al Khail Road, take exit 10 onto Al Khamila St followed by First Al Khail St to Emirates Golf Club.
